Watch[Ready]: Trey Songz is pretty well known, but in the last year he’s really [upped his profile] and [while at the taping] of his “MTV Unplugged” I couldn’t help but notice how charismatic he actually is and how superstardom is truly within his grasp. [Ladies loved him], girls adored him. And the fellas caught a good damn show.

In the old Roc-A-Fella days, Tuesday night would have been J. Cole’s “Chaining Day,” where the upstart rapper would have received a diamond necklace and pendant emblazoned with the logo from the record company Jay-Z, Dame Dash and Kareem “Biggs” Burke founded.
Instead, Cole, the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, did without the ceremonial theatrics...
